Everything is a stone’s throw away in Kavousi

Kavousi’s bakeries and cafés are perfect spots for a relaxed morning coffee or breakfast. Grocery stores are also within walking distance, so anything you need for the day is close by.

Tholos Beach is just down the road

After breakfast, follow the road through the olive-growing valley to Tholos Beach, 3.8 km away, about 45 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by car. Its clear water, sand and pebbles, and tamarisk shade make it a beautiful place to swim or spend an unhurried part of the day.

Two coastal towns a short distance away

Ierapetra, about 19 km south, and Agios Nikolaos, about 27.5 km west, are both typically under 30 minutes away. Each offers plenty of restaurants, waterfront walks, and nearby beaches to explore at your own pace.

The Kavousi KTEL stop is less than 500m away, a 5 minute walk, making it easy to catch a bus and set out on a longer road trip. Services connect the village with Sitia, Agios Nikolaos, Heraklion, and Ierapetra; check the current timetable before travelling.

    We love pets, but we cannot accommodate them in our apartments. Please contact us if you have questions about your specific situation.

  • Baby related equipment.

    We can provide a baby seat and bed railing. Please let us know in advance if you would like to use any of these items.

  • Three independent apartments.

    Villa Stella Apartments has three independent apartments, each with its own character and everything needed for an easy, comfortable holiday.

  • Where do I find the key?

    Currently, we meet our guests in person to hand over the keys. We will provide you with directions to the meeting point before your arrival.
